About Mental Health First Aid

To promote mental health in and out of the workplace, Community Links is delivering Mental Health First Aid training throughout Yorkshire and the Humber. This is achieved via a two day, nationally recognised training course aimed at all sections of the public.

The course is aimed at those with little or no knowledge of mental health issues. Trainees will not become 'therapists' but will gain the practical knowledge of how to act when confronted by someone in distress.

Rt. Hon. Rosie Winterton MP, Minister for Yorkshire and the Humber has praised the effectiveness of the Mental Health First Aid course.
